If you have never heard of this woman, now you have. Dani is one of those who succeeded wildly in the home business arena. Several years ago, with the encouragement of her husband Hans, she brought her many success secrets to the public rather than keep them just within her own organization. I first became aware of Dani through her website. An acquaintance told me that, based upon some of the things I was saying, I’d really resonate with Dani. He had just returned from one of her First Steps to Success seminars. So, I found her online and started listening to a lot of her free content. I was particularly drawn to what she calls the “Spiritual Equipping” section. A few months prior, I had made the return trip to my True Father’s house. The years away left me beat up and battered….but that’s another story and not why I’m posting this. Over the last 5 years, I’ve attended somewhere around 30 Dani Johnson events. I’ve also gotten to see Dani and Hans behind the scenes when they were in some awfully rough places. That leads me to one of the things I love most about Dani and Hans: Dani Johnson is authentic! Everything about Dani (and Hans) is the real deal. You’ve heard the cliche’s. I’ve seen these people up close and they’re the real deal. And I find that so refreshing today. I’m so through with posers. Dani is no poser. She lives what she teaches.
In my days, I’ve traveled the world, met quite a few people, and mixed it up in some rarefied social and business circles. Of all the people I’ve ever met in my life, Dani Johnson is the most courageous person I’ve ever known. This is at the very top of my list of reasons for why I love Dani. This woman has the courage to believe what God says about her…who God says she is…rather than the dictates of her upbringing, background, and circumstances. In my book, that takes courage and guts (grande cajones for my Spanish speaking and Texan friends)! It was this courage, this Divine courage, that God imparted back into me through Dani after it had been thoroughly beaten out.
Dani is the epitome of encouragement! Oh no, I’m not talking about the manufactured or fake kind. I’m not talking about the kind that encourages someone to always run to them for all the answers in life either. Sure, she promotes her books and materials. But that’s not even what I’m talking about. Let me give you a specific example. I think some of the best encouragement any of us can give or get is to run to God. Dani challenges (encourages) people to do just that when she lays down the gauntlet to read the Bible. It worked for me. I hadn’t read it through in years until she encouraged me that there were quite a few answers I was looking for that I’d find when I read the Bible for myself.
Politically correct, Dani is NOT! Hey, you might like people who are PC. I don’t! Never have! Never will!
Dani Johnson trusts God from the bottom of her heart! I know. I’ve watched her and seen this first hand. I will never forget being with Dani and Hans in the middle of the night when Dani was in great physical pain. She wanted to do one thing but it was clear that God was calling her to trust Him and do another. She chose to follow the guidance of her Real Dad…to trust God completely despite all the odds and circumstances and personal pain and cost to the contrary. What an example!
I could go on and on about her great gifting to communicate specific skills in ways that are easily remembered and applied. But I’ve had some time to think about why I love this amazing woman. Now YOU know why hardly a day goes by that I don’t thank God for Dani Johnson…and Hans, too!
